1. Overview of Services
SellMeTech.com provides a mail-in platform for individuals to sell used or damaged electronics. We offer instant quotes, prepaid shipping materials (when requested), and fast payments after inspection.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18+ or have legal guardian consent.
- You must own the device(s) you’re selling.
- You must reside in the United States.
We reserve the right to deny service at our discretion.
3. Device Conditions & Final Offers
Quotes are based on your provided description. Upon inspection:
- If the device matches, we honor the quote.
- If the condition differs, a revised offer is sent for approval within 5 business days.
- Lost, stolen, or blacklisted devices will not be paid for and will be turned over to the proper authorities.
Devices must be received within 14 days of receiving a quote. After that time, SellMeTech.com reserves the right to revise the quote to reflect current market value.
4. Shipping
If you opt for our prepaid shipping kit, it includes a box, bubble mailer, and prepaid return label. You are responsible for packaging the device securely. We are not responsible for lost packages or any damage during transit. No reimbursement or payout will be provided for such occurrences.
5. Payment
Payments are issued within 2 business days after device inspection. Options include:
- Zelle
- PayPal
- Venmo
- CashApp
You must provide accurate payment info. We are not liable for incorrect payments due to user error.
6. User Responsibilities
Before shipping, you must:
- Factory reset the device
- Remove all personal data and iCloud/activation locks
- Remove SIM cards and accessories
If the seller denies a revised offer or fails to comply with these steps, they will be responsible for all return shipping and packaging costs.
7. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss is entirely the responsibility of the seller and the carrier. SellMeTech.com only assumes responsibility once the package is marked as “delivered” by the carrier. We do not take responsibility for packages lost in transit.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on SellMeTech.com—including logos, text, and visuals—is our property and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
9. Prohibited Uses
Do not use our services to:
- Sell devices you don’t own
- Sell stolen or fraudulently obtained devices
- Commit fraud or misrepresentation
- Violate any local, state, or federal laws
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Lost or damaged items in transit
- Delays from incorrect payment info
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Maximum liability is limited to the original quoted amount.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SellMeTech.com, its officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
12. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration in the State of Florida. By using this service, you waive your right to participate in class actions or jury trials.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of changes.
